About Tomoka

Tomoka Nguyen is a published author and a regional leader in the spa and wellness industry. She began her career in Bali, Indonesia in 1997 and quickly advanced to the position of Regional Operations Manager for Mandara Spa. Since then, she has managed some of the most prestigious wellness establishments in Asia, including ESPA International, The Peninsula Hotels, and GHM (General Hotel Management).

Most notably, Tomoka headed the 12,000 s.q.m ESPA at Resorts World Sentosa – the brand’s global flagship operation and the largest wellness centre in Asia. During her four-year tenure at Resorts World Sentosa, ESPA received numerous international awards and saw a five-fold increase in business profitability.

Tomoka’s cultural roots and extensive knowledge of Asian therapies and wellness traditions have enabled her to develop some of the most sought-after spa and wellness concepts, signature spa journeys, and exquisite spa product lines for her clients. She is a certified Aromatherapist and natural skincare product formulator and is fluent in Japanese, English, Bahasa Indonesia, and basic Thai.
