About Tomoka

Tomoka Nguyen is a published author, founder and regionally recognised spa & wellness consultant. Tomoka embarked on her spa & wellness career in 1997 in Bali, Indonesia and advanced to become Regional Operations Manager for Mandara Spa. Since then, she has travelled across the region to manage some of the most prestigious wellness establishments in Asia like ESPA International, The Peninsula Hotels and GHM (General Hotel Management). Recently, Tomoka headed the 12,000 s.q.m ESPA at Resorts World Sentosa – the brand’s global flagship operation and the largest wellness centre in Asia. Within her 4 years tenure at Resorts World Sentosa, ESPA received accolades from multiple international awards and the business profitability increased by five folds.

Her cultural roots and in-depth understanding of Asian therapies and wellness traditions have led her to curate some of the most sought-after spa and wellness concepts, signature spa journeys and exquisite spa product lines for her clients.

Originally from Japan, a certified Aromatherapist and natural skincare product formulator, Tomoka is fluent in Japanese, English, Bahasa Indonesia and speaks basic Thai.
